Instructor/Rider Bio
Philosophy
"Mikki" understands fully that it is the small,
successfully executed parts of training that
ultimately add up to the whole picture of
success. He is known for carefully and
correctly starting all his clients from "square
one" and progressing incrementally with an
emphasis always on the basics. Time, patience
and practice are the key factors involved in
developing the skills and confidence needed in
both horse and rider. Mikki believes in
non-abusive riding of the horse and pays much
attention to the rider's timing, position and
aids so that they are easy to understand and in
harmony with those of an educated rider. This
is the only way to ensure a proper dialogue
between horse and rider that will ultimately
cultivate the higher-end achievements of any
rider's goals. Above all Mikki expects his
students' personal best and continuously strives
to bring that about.
