About Us

Chicory Meadow Farm offers English Riding Instruction for all levels of experience with an emphasis on basics and the creation of good riding habits.  We are able to ride every day, all year-round thanks to our indoor arena.   We teach English style riding only with an emphasis on Balance Seat, which is an all -purpose seat, and from which a rider can adapt to any style of riding.  Students will learn to walk, trot, canter & jump with lots of hard work and preparation.  Our lesson program has been designed to build confidence, promote inner strength and create a healthy respect for horses.  We do not push our students to do things they are not ready for.

Fees:  ½ hour private instruction  $50.00
45 minute semi-private $50.00
1 hour group (3 or more) $50.00

Please Consider:  The Young Equestrian Club has been created due to the growing number of students wanting to spend more time at the barn.  This program will give your child the chance to groom, care for, and bond with the horses in our lesson program.  The Program has been designed as a supplement to regular weekly horseback riding lessons and should not be expected to replace the one-on-one instruction always important in improving one's riding skills.
